Ever thought you were on your own?

I was just browsing one of the belly dancing newsgroups I am a member of (head over to google groups) and I read a great article about the International Festival of Belly Dance that was held in Salt Lake City in 2005. Approx. 10,000 people attended the festival, dance clinics all sold out, over 150 dancers wanted to participate and 30,000 dollars were donated to the free festival.

I think that shows just how many people love belly dancing and that there are loads of others out there who share your passion. So, if you are learning at home or in a small group, why not join a newsgroup and start communicating with belly dancers around the world.
